After entering your property through any of the four methods, everyone lands in the same place: the tract review steps. This is where you check the platform's work before anything is finalized.

Step 3 — Review Tracts

For each tract the platform generated, check two things.

First, the boundary. Does the shape on the map match your understanding of where your minerals are? Check the acreage shown — if it is significantly off from what you expected, the boundary may need adjustment.

Second, the wells. The platform matched wells to your tract based on where your boundary falls and how those wells' drilling units overlap with your acreage. Review the wells listed. If a well you know you own an interest in is missing, it may mean the well's unit does not overlap with your drawn boundary — which could indicate a boundary correction is needed.

You do not need to resolve every detail at this step. The goal is to confirm the basic setup looks right. Fine-tuning individual wells and interest estimates happens in the Well Overwrites step.

Step 4 — Fix Overlaps

This step checks whether any of your tracts overlap each other geographically. If two tracts share acreage that should belong to only one of them, the overlap will be flagged here and you will have the option to resolve it by trimming one boundary.

If this is your first tract, you will likely pass straight through this step with no overlaps to fix.
