Before you can see your valuation, you need to tell the platform what you own. That happens through the Create a Tract workflow — and the first thing it asks you is how you want to get your property in.

There are four methods, and the right one depends on what you have available. You do not need everything perfectly organized to get started. The platform is designed to meet you where you are.

Draw from Map

If you have a deed, a legal description, or you just know roughly where your minerals are located, this is the most common starting point. You find your property on the map and trace the boundary of your tract. This method works for almost everyone who can locate their land geographically.

Upload a Revenue Statement

If you have been receiving checks from an operator, you have a revenue statement. Upload it as a PDF and the platform reads the well information out of the document automatically — pulling your wells and decimal interests without manual entry.

Upload a Well List

If you have a list of API14 well numbers — from a broker, a title company, or a spreadsheet you have been keeping — you can upload those directly. The platform builds your tract from the wells you already know about.

Upload a Shapefile

If you or your land company has GIS data with the actual polygon geometry of your tracts, you can bring those in directly. This is the fastest path for larger portfolios with existing GIS files.
