This is the final step of the Create a Tract workflow — and the first time you will see what your minerals are actually worth.

Running the Analysis

Click Run KPIs to trigger the platform's engineering analysis. The platform pulls in production data, applies decline curve analysis to your producing wells, models your undeveloped acreage, and calculates your estimated fair market value. This takes just a moment.

Reading Your Results

Once the analysis is complete, you will see your tract-level results.

Your Pecan Estimate is the estimated fair market value of this tract — shown as a range rather than a single number. The range reflects the spectrum of outcomes depending on buyer type, commodity price assumptions, and risk profile.

Below your total value, you will see a breakdown by category:

PDP (Proved Developed Producing) is the value attributed to wells that are already on production. This is the most certain piece of your valuation.

Non-producing value is attributed to wells that exist but are not currently producing, or are producing at very low rates.

Upside is the estimated value of future drilling potential on your acreage — accounting for permits, type curves, and the probability of development based on activity in your area.

You will also see your estimated monthly well revenue from your producing wells. This is the number to compare against your check stubs to verify you are being paid correctly.

What Happens Next

Your tract is now fully set up. The platform will keep it updated automatically — refreshing production data as new records come in, flagging well activity as it happens, and recalculating your estimate as the market moves.
