The platform lets you generate formal reports on your mineral interests — documents you can share with a financial advisor, an estate attorney, a potential buyer, or anyone else who needs a clear picture of what you own and what it is worth.

Generating a Report

You will find the reporting tools in the sidebar or from your tract or portfolio view. When you initiate a report, you will be asked which tracts to include, what time period to cover, and what type of output you need.

At a minimum, most reports include your Pecan Estimate, the breakdown of your value by component (PDP, non-producing, and upside), and a summary of your producing wells and their estimated revenue. Depending on the report type, you may also see production history, engineering detail, or a well-by-well breakdown of your interests.

Once you make your selections, the platform generates the report. Depending on the type and portfolio size, this may complete immediately or take a short time to process.

When Reports Are Most Useful

If you have received an offer on your minerals and want to know whether it is fair, a report gives you a formal, structured view of your valuation to share with an advisor or reference in the conversation.

If you are doing estate planning or working with an attorney on mineral rights documentation, a report provides a professional summary of your holdings and their estimated value.

If you are tracking your portfolio over time, running a report periodically gives you a snapshot to save and compare year over year.

Custom and Appraisal-Grade Reports

If you need something beyond the standard self-serve reports — a more detailed engineering analysis, a customized format for a specific transaction, or an appraisal-grade document — our team offers that as a separate service. You will find an option to request it from within the platform.
